More often than necessary, many dogs end up being re-homed due to a lack of training. We have created a Play & Train program geared towards puppies in an effort to take the stress of owning a new dog off all you busy, dog loving families!

Group Classes & Seminars, Private Training, Play & Train
In most cases we recommend starting off with group classes, but sometimes (such as when dealing with reactive or fearful dogs) that might not be an option. Call or email us and explain your situation so we can give you a better idea of what training option you and your dog(s) would be best suited to!
Group Obedience Classes
Our group classes are an excellent way to socialize your dog with other people and dogs in a new environment, while practicing basic obedience commands, manners (such as 'Wait' at the door) and working on unwanted behaviours (jumping up, mouthing, etc). We show our students how to 'proof' commands once we have shaped the behaviours, by slowly adding distractions and teaching our dogs that it is more rewarding to pay attention to us.
More recently we have added one field trip to a location other than the PLP facility to the 7 week class, which offers you a chance to get help in a real-life scenario.
Private Training
In Home, or at the PLP Facility
If you have a dog that is reactive (aggressive), fearful to the point that a group class would be too much for them to handle, or if you need help with a specific problem that was not addressed in group class, then Private Training might be a good option!
